The Hantavirus IgM/IgG Rapid Test Kit (Colloidal Gold) is an immunochromatographic assay for quantitative detection of IgM/IgG antibodies to Hantavirus in human serum or plasma. When people are infected with hantavirus, IgM, IgG and IgA antibodies are successively produced. IgM antibodies are considered sensitive indicators of acute infection, with significantly elevated antibody titers falling to normal levels in just days or weeks; IgM antibodies rarely persist for a long time. In contrast to IgM antibodies, IgG antibodies were able to be detected over very long periods. Antibody titers of IgG are usually higher in reinfection in healthy people. IgA antibody testing is mainly used for the diagnosis of cases of mucosal infection, and it is often tested together with IgG antibodies.
